Summary of the previous part: After Inspector TENROC and Jimini HOLMES inspect the office of a man discovered in a rubbish dump, they go to his home in the center of LOULAND...

After searching the victim's apartment, Jimini HOLMES and Inspector TENROC are confronted by the journalist who discovered the engineer's body during her broadcast.

After explaining the techniques the engineer had developed against non-recyclable waste, she tells them she's off to CLEMENTINE to report on the sale of arable land from one country to another...

Jimini HOLMES, intrigued, decides to go with this journalist to CLEMENTINE...
